Easterling Family Coming To Center Point

Center Point Baptist Church is pleased to announce that the Easterling Family will be in concert with Danny Posey on August 28, 2010, at 6pm. The concert will be held in the sanctuary with a time of fellowship to follow.

The Easterling Family currently live in Sparkman, Arkansas. Several Center Point members have heard them in concert at other local churches and highly recommend them. Everyone is invited out to join us for a wonderful night of music and singing.

Youth To Have Back To School Bash

Today the Center Point Baptist Church Sunday School Director officially announced that the youth will hold a Back-To-School Bash on Saturday, August 21, 2010, at 6pm. The event will include pizza and other refreshments, movie, and a great time of fellowship.

Jason Wells stated, “Our youth have been left out for several months now and I believe it is important to give them our well wishes before school starts back.” Pastor Ollie Trout has given his full support behind the event and encourages more in the future.

Wells has asked Tim Wells and Linda Devault to head the event and plan the remaining details. Information will be posted as it becomes available. For questions please email news@centerpointbaptist.com.

Prayers Go To Victims Of Arkansas Flood

 

Today the Center Point Baptist Church family sends out its prayers and thoughts to each of the families who have lost a loved one or may be still among the missing. We can only imagine the pain and suffering they are going through at this time. We know and believe the people of Arkansas will come together to pray for and support for these families.

Center Point Prays For Revival Among Southern Baptists

 

Next week, Southern Baptists will gather in Orlando, Florida to seek a new direction. Questions are being asked by many Baptists on the path that should be taken. Today, in our nation and convention, we need revival, in our hearts and lives. As next week, decisions will be made that could affect all Southern Baptists. During this time, we need to pray for a real and serious revival in every church across our land because today is the day that we must advance the Gospel. Join us in praying for this revival to come and come today. It is vital we take a stand for Jesus Christ.

Prayers With Those Who Losted Loved Ones

This past week many of our church members having experience a loss of close family and friends. Times of great loss are never easy to go through. We send our thoughts and prayers to those in our church family during this time. May the Lord bless you and comfort you all.
